A good crowd gathered at the Daviess County Courthouse Steps yesterday to honor our fallen heroes on Memorial Day. American Legion Post Commander Kelly Hamm served as Master of Ceremonies and read the roll call of our local fallen heroes.

Liberty Holtsclaw sang the National Anthem and the Honor Guard gave a 21 gun salute with the playing of TAPS to wrap up the ceremony. Washington Mayor Joe Wellman also served as a guest speaker.
