Free Fishing day on Saturday

Tomorrow is free fishing day in Indiana.

Dylan Sickles is the Property Manager at the East Fork Fish Hatchery in Daviess County..he says tomorrow is meant to get people to start or continue fishing…

Normally anyone 17 and older needs a license to fish. Also tomorrow you won’t need a trout or salmon stamp to fish in areas that normally require that.  However, all other laws and regulations apply like size and quantity limits.

There are lots of events around the state at various places promoting the free fishing.

Sickles says the state and city are working together for an event at Baumert Lake at East Side Park in Washington…

You’ll need to register at the Pavillion at 9-am for tomorrow’s event.  Tackle and bait will be provided if you need it.  You can also bring your own.
