Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors has approved the sale of the Samaritan Center Building in Petersburg.
Good Samaritan Hospital has utilized the structure for the past 20 years, but with the move to a new building, they were able to offer the structure for sale.
John Manning, G-S-H’s Vice President of Behavioral Health and Special Projects said they received two bids for the building and took up an offer from the city of Petersburg.
The final sale will be effective within the next 30 days.
