This year’s fundraising campaign for Junior Achievement is under way it’s called “Dollars Make Sense.”

Junior Achievement is a financial literacy program presented to kids during the school day it covers financial literacy, work readiness and entrepenearship.

Linda Strohsnyder is with Junior Achievement and she says Dollars Make Sense is being sponsored by Old National Bank and locally Wendy’s and Long John Silvers are participating….

Monies raised go for materials used to teach the classes.

In Daviess County Junior Achievement is taught in 55 classes serving over 1200 students.  That’s neary 30% of students in the four school systems in Daviess County.

If you’d like to know more about Junior Achievement or volunteer in the program call Linda Strohsnider or this area’s president Jeff Norris.
