Ruth Frances Otto went to her heavenly home on Saturday.

She was born in Daviess County on Oct. 15, 1924, to Elmer J. Graber and Elizabeth Graber (Stoll). She attended a one room school in Daviess County. On Feb. 23, 1947, she married the late Daniel J. Otto. She was a member and attended Berea Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She loved to cook, read, and garden.

Survivors include her daughters Mary Jane and Glen Graber of Odon, Martha and Rex Norris of Washington, Dorothy and Paul Knepp of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Ruth and David Zook of Lititz, Pennsylvania, and Kathryn Otto of Cannelburg; and her sons, Lester and Jane Otto of Loogootee, Elmer Dean and Diane Otto of Evansville, and Daniel and Beth Otto of Cannelburg; her brother Benjamin Graber of Brooksville, Mississippi; 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Elizabeth; her husband Daniel; her brothers, Arthur Graber, Wilmer Graber, Lester Graber, Ernest Graber; and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation was held at Bereaa Mennonite Church on Monday and the funeral was 10-am on Tuesday with Pastor Ed Graber officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery, with Pastor Kevin Swartzentruber officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.gillsince1872.com.
