Several drunk driving arrests over the weekend

SUNDAY ARRESTS

Sunday morning at 2:37-am, police made a traffic stop near the Kingdom of Life Church on Meridian where  30-year-old Stephie E. Garner of Washington was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with greater that .15% and operating while intoxicated with endangerment. Garner posted bond.

Sunday afternoon, Washington police were working operation pull over and arrested 39-year-old Lorenzo Carmona of Washington.  Reports say Carmona fled police on foot north of the Angle Inn and was captured at Plaza Drive.  He’s cahrged with resisting law enforcement, operating while intoxicated, ovwi with endangerment and operating while never licensed.

Washington City Police report they picked up 22 year old Joseph Elmonth of Washington on a warrant for a petition to revoke a suspended sentence.  Bond was set at $5000

SATURDAY ARRESTS

A traffic stop at 1:08-pm Saturday on Van Trees resulted in the arrest of 33-year-old Humberto Mora-Lopez of Washington.  He’s charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated refusal, ovwi endangering a person and operating while never licensed.  His bond was set at $6000 and he bonded out of the security center.

Indiana State Police arrested 27-year-old Chris Whiteledge of Loogootee on Saturday.  He’s charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and ovwi endangering a person.  No bond was set.

 

Washington Police arrested 31-year-old Juan Avalos of Huntingburg Saturday night.  He was jailed on $6000 bond for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with greater that .15% blood alcohol content, ovwi with a controlled substance and ovwi with endangerment.
