Several weekend incidents lead to various charges

Area residents arrested an auto theft, meth and alcohol offenses………….

 

STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST

 

Washington City Police arrested two people at a  Cosby Street residence Saturday while investigating a stolen vehicle report.

25-year-old Sean Baxter and 22-year-old Anthony Fellers both of Washington were lodged in the Daviess County Security Center.

Baxter is charged with auto theft, dealing in a counterfeit substance, and visiting a common nuisance.  No bond was set.

Fellers was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.  Bond was set at $9000.

 

 


 

 

OWI ARRESTS

35-year-old Dawn Scales of Washington was arrested by State Police on Saturday for operating while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated with endangerment. No bond was set.

 

41-year-old Cody Howard of Washington was jailed without bond on Sunday.  He’s charged with operating while intoxicated refusal, operating while intoxicated involving endangerment, possession of meth and paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.  No bond was set.  The arrest was made on Northeast 1st in Washington.

 

A traffic stop Sunday at Northeast 11th resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old Luis Cruze Mandujauno who was charged with operating whille intoxicated/OWI with endangerment. Bond set at $4000.

 

Sunday, Fidel Arragi-Jiminez was arrested for public intoxication.  Bond was set at $2000.

 

 


 

 

POLICE BATTERY ARREST

 

Police were called to a Walnut Street Home in Washington on Sunday in reference to man allegedly causing problems.  Police located the suspect, 24-year-old Lance Harner on East Main.  He was eventually arrested for public intoxication and reportedly became combative with officers.

He also faces charges of battery resulting in injury to a police officer and disorderly conduct. There was no bond set.

 

 


 

 

METH ARRESTS

 

An overnight investigation resulted in three people charged with manufacturing meth.

Police took 55-year-old Tammy Moore, 30-year-old Zachary Harner and 30-year-old Brock D. Alsman into custody on the charg.  All three  also face nusiance charges.  All were jailed without bond early today (Monday).
