State Road 257 south of Washington at the Daviess/Pike County line is closed due to high river water.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department says they’ve received several complaints of motorists moving the barricades to go through.
You are strongly advised not to do that. You should never drive through a flooded road. Moving the barricades could result in charges and traveling through the water could end in severe injury or death.
