Judith Carole Perkins, of Washington, went to her heavenly home Thursday.

Judith was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Henry and Virginia (Williams) Jackman. On July 1, 1955, Judith married Edgar “Jarit” Perkins.

Judith attended Washington High School. She was a homemaker and attended Bethany Christian Church. Judith was a member of the Washington Garden Club and the April Debs Homemaker Club. Judith was an avid sports fan, and had a vast knowledge of the Civil War. She had a green thumb and loved to make wreaths, wedding bouquets, and flower arrangements.

Judith is survived by her children Denise (Phil) Fair, Lesa (Ed) Dreiman, Sherri (Rick) Cardinal, and JayR (Angie) Perkins; grandchildren Honey Clymer, Lisha Porteé, Brock Cardinal, Amanda Kocher, Rebecca Wonning, Daniel Dreiman, Laura Dreiman, Jarit Perkins, Mariah Perkins; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Young. She is preceded by her husband, parents, and great-grandchild Farrah Porteé.

Funeral arrangements for Judith are Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Steve Dayton officiating at Bethany Church with interment at Antioch Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from noon until the service at Bethany Church.
