No injuries in two crashes on the same road

accident

A couple of accidents on Daviess County Road 125-south last night were blamed on the dense fog.

32-year-old Brayton T. Moore of Washington was driving south about a thousand feet south of 300 south at just after 9-pm. Accident reports say he hit a tree that had fallen across the roadway.   Moore was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.  His 2010 Ford Fusion suffered front end and undercarriage damage.

Aboug 40 minutes later, at 9:40, 22-year-old Arney Lucas of Washington was driving a 2013 Chevy Silverado south of 125-south approaching the intersection with 400 south.  Due to the dense fog, he drove through the intersection and went off the south side of the road  and into a yard.  The truck continued for about 50 yards hitting multiple trees causing heavy damage to the truck and damaging the landscape at the residence.  Lucas was not injured as both airbags deployed.
