With roadbeds thawing from the winter freeze, the Daviess County Commissioners imposed a 10 load limit on all Daviess County Roads.
County Highway Superintendent Phil Cornelius said the limit is in affect until further notice.
Cornelius said trucking companies could check the Highway Department website for information about permits and designated haul routes. That sight is Daviess.org A code red notification on the 10 limit will go out this week.

The Commissioners voted to permit AT&T to place 1600 ft. of fiber optic cable on Donaldson Road between Troy Road and the Washington Twp. Volunteer Fire Station. Also approved was an increase of the insurance deductible on property to $2,500 and the addition of insurance for cyber crime.
