Stanley C. Hodges, 77, of Loogootee, IN, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015.
He was born February 9, 1938 in Louisville, KY, to the late Rollin and Barbara Rose (Brosmer) Hodges.
Stan was a graduate of Dubois High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and served his country for four years. He retired from Crane after 35 years of employment. Stan was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, American Legion Post 120 and 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, playing golf, but his pride and joy was his great grandson, Kohen Robbins.
Stan is survived by his wife, Karin (Schubert) Hodges; daughters, Barbara (David) Brosmer of Evansville and Sandy (Mickey) Hercamp of Seymour; son, Stanley (Angie) Hodges of Loogootee; grandchildren, Jared Brosmer, Jordan Brosmer, Joshua (Kayla) Hercamp, Kiersten (Branden) Robbins, Zachary (Shateria) Hodges and Shelby Hodges; great-grandchild, Kohen Robbins; sisters, Janet Sheehan of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Theresa Jones of French Lick and Beverly (Kenneth) Krodel of Wilson, North Carolina; brother, Milton (Charlene) Hodges of Dale.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph Hodges; brothers-in-law, Verlin Jones and John Sheehan.
Arrangements are pending and will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for masses.
