Barbara Sexton, 77, of Burns City, died Friday January 30th at Daviess Community Hospital…..

She was born August 9, 1937 to Richard and Sara (Beaver) Beam.

Barbara was a member of the Burns City United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church of Loogootee, Indiana.  She worked as a supervisor at Red Door Industries in Loogootee, Indiana and volunteered at the Food pantry at the Loogootee United Methodist Church and at the Ketcham Nursing Home in Odon, Indiana.

She is survived by sons, James Vernon and wife Rita of Jacksonville, FL and Martin Sexton of Burns City, IN; daughters, Adella Sexton of Odon, IN; sisters, Betty Condor of Cross Roads, TN and Robert Beam of Neveah, IN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Sexton; brother, Louis Beam.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Burns City United Methodist Church.
