If you know a student who goes beyond the average student in academics, volunterer work, or maybe they have just done something extra special. Meredith's father has had a lot of health issues mental and physical. He has had a stroke and back surgeries and is dealing with severe neuropathly, memory loss, and one side of his body is completely numb. Meredith has always been right there by her father's side. She has had to do things most kids would find hard to cope with. She is a very high achiever always on the honor roll, works very hard, at school and home. She figured out a way to help her father with his memory loss by them doing homework together. She is also a great older sister she loves to do kereokee with her little sis when she can. Her father through out every thing their family has been through has never complained and I have never seen him without a smile even when he had his stroke. He has always taught his children to have a possitive outlook on life and to never give up

Katilyn has went over and beyond expectations lately in my World History Classroom. Her drawing of Aunubis the Egyptian God of death was amazing. For her Egpytian report she received a 98% and her project was a cake of King Tut's sarcophagus. She never fails to surprise me, when turning in a project. She is a hard worker and enjoyable to have in class.

Charity is a very sweet girl. She is in 7th grade this year. This can be a very difficult year for the students. Charity has tried very hard this year and is excelling in 7th grade. Lindsey is a sweet, caring, hard-working, and respectful young lady. She works very hard in school and life. She has wonderful attendence, good grades, and is kind to every person that she meets. She is always willing to help anyone. She is helpful to her teachers and peers. Some examples of this are: helping clean up trash in the room helping a substitute, helping students with an assignment, being kind to student's with more severe needs that her own, helping in the cafeteria, and so on. Lindsey has stuggled in school She has worked very hard to pass her classes, and is now even makeing honor roll. She also holds a job at McDonald's in Loogootee, and attends church. This is a lot for her to be involved in while keeping her grades up and helping with her family. Everyone who meets Lindsey, loves her. She lights up a room when she enters with her joy and positive attitude.

Gretchen is a hard worker and lets nothing stop her, she broke her wrist last year during spring break, and just recently broke her same arm in July, but she still contunined to do all that she could do reguardless of having her arm in a splint for all most the last six weeks of school last year and the first 4-5 weeks the beginning of school, and plus being visually impaired, she is such a happy little girl and always has a smile on her face.
