Tomorrow the last sales will be made from the location of the former Black Buggy Restaurant. For more than a decade, the Black Buggy attracted people from miles around to its Amish buffet and General Store. But the Black Buggy abruptly closed in 2012, amid rumors of tax problems. Saturday, everything from kitchen appliances to the restaurant’s tables and chairs will be auctioned off beginning at 9:00 a.m. Other items to be sold at the auction include the cow and buffalo statues in front of the restaurant complex. The current owner of the property, German-American Bank, plans to raze the structures in preparation for new construction on the site.
