The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for south central Indiana, including Daviess, Knox, Greene, and Martin Counties, between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Low temperatures could reach the mid to low 30s overnight. Sensitive outdoor plants could be affected. Precautionary measures are suggested.
The Weather Service says that cold Canadian air will arrive tonight behind a strong cold front. Some clearing is expected overnight, with a light calm wind. This should allow temperatures to bottom out in the lower to mid 30s in widespread frost to form overnight into Tuesday morning.
Areas north and west of Indianapolis could see temperatures briefly fall below freezing.
