In other business, the Board received a letter from long-time teacher Rob McCormick announcing his retirement at the end of the school year. Several Board members thanked McCormick for his 41 years of service to the schools.

he Board appointed Tim Hedrick to Washington’s Redevelopment Commission and approved overnight trips for the wrestling team, and an out-of-state trip for the NJROTC to attend a competition in Cincinnati.

The next Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 15, with a work session on Nov. 30.
