Warrant Arrest in Daviess Co.; Possession Arrests in Knox

-There was a property damage accident reported at 12:35 yesterday afternoon at the 67 mile marker on I69.

-Police responded to a two vehicle accident at Northeast 11th and East Main in Washington at about 2:55 pm yesterday.  One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

-A K9 unit was called to assist in a traffic stop at Dewey Avenue and Southwest 1st at 11:40 last night.  Police reports say marijuana was located.

-A vehicle slid off the road and into a ditch on East Illinois Street in Washington last night.  There were no injuries and no damage reported.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department picked up 31-year-old Ryan Tweedy of Vincennes on a warrant yesterday. Tweedy was wanted for Failure to Appear for Auto Theft.  Bond was set at $2500.

-A man was jailed in Knox County at 1:52 this morning on several possession charges.   Vincennes Police charged 35-year-old Shane Brasseur with Possession of Meth, Marijuana and Paraphernalia.  His also charged with Resisting Law Enforcement and was wanted on a warrant. Meanwhile, 36-year-old Joseph Brasseur was jailed at 10:46 am yesterday for Possessing Meth, Marijuana and Paraphernalia.

-48-year-old Charles Lair was arrested by Knox County Authorities for Check Fraud yesterday. He was booked into jail at 10:23-am.
