Last weekend’s heavy rains have WAMW tackling some technical issues today.
The nearly seven inches of rain that fell last weekend, caused damage to the WAMW studio transmitter link and transmission lines.   According to DLC Media President, Dave Crooks, enginners and a tower crew will be in Washington later this morning to disconnect and dry out lines at the tower site, on the south side of U.S. 50, near Wheatland.  Crooks says that all three signals for WAMW… 107.9 FM, 95.9 FM, and 1580 AM…. may be affected for a short period of time later today.   We apologize for any inconvenience.  But Crooks also says, that once repairs are complete, the quality of the on-air sound should be better than before.
