A judge has sentenced a man to 111 years in prison for fatally shooting a man outside a Greene County home and then raping a woman inside the home.

Jason Lee Caldwell of Solsberry was sentenced Wednesday for the murder of David Lamm near the town of Newark in July and the rape of the surviving victim. Caldwell pleaded guilty to the charges last month.

A woman who was found bound with rope and duct tape told police that Caldwell had raped her at gunpoint after the shooting about 15 miles west of Bloomington.

Caldwell was arrested in an Indianapolis motel two days after the attacks.
