A 4 year old girl died from injuries sustained after being hit by a car in Washington.  The accident happened at 5:40-pm Saturday on East National Highway close to Southeast 7th. The accident investigation is ongoing and foul play was not suspected.
The child who died was identified as Oaklee Raiane Nicole Carlisle, 4, of Loogootee.
