Accidents, arrests and medical runs from Tuesday

-Daviess County Sheriff’s Department logs show a man was injured when he was hit by a bucket loader. That was reported at 11:55-am Tuesday on 300-South and South State Road 57.  The logs state the man was a contractor for Rural Water Corporation.  Air Evac was called.  The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Southwest Medical and the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department were called to the scene.

-A semi was reported to have turned over on its side on 150-South east of State Road 257 yesterday morning. The driver was not injured. That was reported at 7:16-am.

-At 5:23-pm yesterday a semi was reported to have hit a pole at highway 58 between 59 and 67.  There were no injuries.

 -The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Fort Worth, Texas man on a warrant for Dealing Cocaine.  27-year-old Pierre Sanchez was booked into the security center on a $50,000 bond.

-Washington Police arrested 24-year-old Beau Ryder of Washington for Operating while Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance and with Endangerment and Possession of a Schedule 4 Controlled Substance.  No bond was set.

-47-year-old Anthony Pottorff of Washington was charged with Operating While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance and with Endangerment and Driving While Suspended.  He was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.   No bond was set. 

-A Vincennes man was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement. Washington Police made the arrest on Tuesday.  25-year-old Brandon Littljohn was jailed without bond.
