Accidents and Arrests

-According to police logs an accident on Daviess County Road 1000-North at Odon involved a horse and buggy.  The logs state a harness broke and a buggy sideswiped two vehicle and two young boys were said to have been injured.  Southwest Medical did transport patients to the hospital and Air Evac was dispatched. The call went out just before 3-pm and authorities were on scene for around 90 minutes.

-The Daviess Count Sheriff’s Department was called to an accident that was reported to have had injuries at Jones and Sons in Washington at 7:37 on Thursday morning.  Air Evac was initially dispatched but later told to disregard. A driver hit a pole in the incident.  Emergency personnel were on scene for a little under 2 hours.

-At 11:20-am authorities worked a non-injury accident on Terrace Court Drive in Montgomery.

-There was a property damage accident reported just before noon at Daviess County Roads 1100-East and 1200-North.  A vehicle had ran off of the road and into a ditch.

-A Washington man was booked into the security center on Thursday on various possession charges.  Washington Police arrested 32-year-old Eric Fahey for Possession of Paraphernalia and Meth.  He’s also charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  No bond was set.

-A Gibson County man was booked into the Daviess County Security Center after being arrested in Vincennes on a Daviess County warrant.   35-year-old Nathan Wheatley of Patoka was wanted for Failure to Appear for Driving While Suspended with a Prior.  He was arrested by Vincennes Police at 6:18-pm last night at the Vincennes Wal-Mart.  Bond was posted.

-A Washington man was involved in an accident and left the scene.  35-year-old Sholeh Coddard was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Driving While Suspended with a Prior.  He was also found to be wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of Driving While Suspended.  No bond was set.

-44-year-old Jason Brewster of Washington was arrested yesterday for Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Residential Entry.  He was jailed without bond. The arrest was the result of an incident at Northwest 21st where Brewster is accused of entering a residence and hitting an occupant inside.

-Vincennes Police went to 103 West New Albany at 7:20 last night to serve an arrest warrant.  29-year-old Elizabeth A. Lucas was wanted for Escape and a Probation Violation. She was apprehended at the residents. While there, police also arrested  33-year-old Steven M. Durham for False Informing, Assisting a Criminal and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

-Vincennes Police arrested 39-year-old Melissa Campbell yesterday. She was booked into the Knox County jail at 5:22 pm for Domestic Battery.
