Larry “Bud” Graham starred for the Odon Bulldogs from 1957 to 1960, averaging 17.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. He played on the 1959 Odon team which narrowly missed reaching the State Finals, losing in the semi-state final in sudden-death double-overtime. At the time, IHSAA rules awarded the victory to the first team to score in double-overtime, and New Albany scored on the first possession after the opening jump to end the game. It would be the final game contested under those conditions. Graham was elected to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012. Courtesy of Daviess County Historical Society.
