Mary Rose Faith, 68, of Vincennes, IN, passed away March 10, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mary was the first woman to graduate from Oakland City College in the welding program. She worked at the railway in Washington, IN, and had also worked in the Environmental Services Department at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.
She is survived by her children, Tony Faith and his wife, Jodie, of Evansville, IN, and Angela Sue Maxfield of Winslow, IN; her sisters, Darcy Chesser of Winslow, IN and Fay Lynn Schulte of Cedar Rapids, IA; ten grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Born October 1, 1950 in Washington, IN, Mary was the daughter of Ira Curtis and Mary (Howard) Chesser. Her parents; her sister, Melissa Jane Wilhite; and her brother, Steve Chesser preceded her.
The funeral will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, at 2:00. Friends may visit with her family from 12:00 – 2:00 on Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, IN.
