The man accused of battery in the death of a Washington woman was in Daviess Superior Court yesterday.
41-year-old Chad Harrington was arrested last week in connection with the death of Bambi Cannon. Cannon died January 14th in a hospital in Louisville after being transferred there from Daviess County. She was brought there January 11th and police were called to investigate. Cannon was said have been suffering from an overdose but it was discovered by medical staff she had trauma to the head they said was not caused from an overdose.
After an investigation, Harrington was arrested and charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and Aggravated Battery.
The Washington Times Herald reports Harrington was appointed an attorney and a trial date was set for June 18th. His bond was set at a half million dollars.
