Noble “Morris” Johnson, 72, of Vincennes

Noble “Morris” Johnson, 72, of Vincennes, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born March 26, 1946 at home in Bruceville, Indiana to Noble Stanley and Dortha (Harmon) Johnson.
Morris retired as a coalminer and served in Vietnam in the Army. A member of the Bruceville Christian Church, Morris was a huge NASCAR fan and once won a new Grand Am during a NASCAR contest. He and his wife met many of the drivers and traveled to many tracks to watch them race.
Surviving are his wife, Sheila (Page) Johnson, whom he married on September 4, 1965; two sons, Bryan Johnson of Vincennes, and David Johnson of Wheatland; a brother, Larry Johnson of Bloomington; and his great nieces and nephews who he thought of his grandchildren, Kayla and Landon Keasling, and Hope Phillips.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Dottie Moore.
Morris’s wishes were to be cremated. A service will be announced at a later time. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to assist with the arrangements.
