Three accidents last night and a local man jailed in Posey County

-No one was injured when a car hit a tree on Highway 57 at the Odon turnoff last night.  It was called in a 9:46-pm.  The road was shut down for a time.  Meanwhile, a motorist detouring from the accident got their vehicle stuck on 200-East for a bit and the Sheriff’s Department was called.  The vehicle’s occupants managed to get the vehicle unstuck and drove home.

-A one vehicle accident was called in at 10:09-pm also on 57 at Plainville.  No injuries there.   

-At 11:32 last night the Sheriff’s Department was called to 300-West, west of Old 50.  A motorist reported their tire had fallen off.  No one was injured.

-27-year-old Paul Hartline of Evansville was arrested by city police on an Out of County Warrant.  No bond was set.

-A Washington woman was jailed on today’s date on a Warrant for Failure to Appear for Check Deception. Bond for 30-year-old Amber Nunley was set at $2000.

-The Posey County Sheriff’s Department reports a man from Washington was arrested late on drug charges.   37-year-old Tommy Alsman of Washington was found passed out in a car at a gas station in Wadesville.  After a search, police found the meth, Xanex pills and other prescription drugs.  He is charged with Dealing and Possessing Meth, a Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia.
