The work continues to save dozens of animals from a Martin County Puppy Mill.

Over 72 dogs were removed from the property.

At least three have died since being removed due to poor health.

Rescuers say horses left on the property were removed Sunday and their health was very poor.

72-year-old Julia K. Arney has been charged with Animal Neglect and Cruelty.

Rescues in Plainfield and Evansville are treating the animals.

The Martin County Humane Society is still in desperate need of help. They’re accepting monetary donations and supplies as they attempt to nurse  sick dogs back to health.
