In his announcement Headly says he’s served on many local boards over the last nine years. He is now Treasurer of the Chuck Harmon Little League, the Finance Council of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and for the United Way of Daviess County.  He has been member of the Daviess County Chamber of Commerce Board having served one term as President.  Headly says the next 10 years are very important for the city’s future and he wants to represent the citizens and make decisions to improve the quality of life for future generations.

Councilman Brown has also announced he’ll seek re-election to the seat.  He says a lot has been accomplished and there’s more to do.  He adds that with a new Mayor and council to be filled this year his knowledge and experience will be a great asset.
