Representative Lindaur talks about 2019 General Assembly

  Today the 2019 General Assembly Session gets underway at the Indiana Statehouse.  This year marks the long session where lawmakers have the task of crafting a new state budget for the next two years.

        State Representative Shane Lindauer of Jasper, a Republican representing District 63, talks about what he believes some top issues will be be..

        Lindauer won his seat for the first time in November.  He was caucused in back in 2017 when former Representative Mike Braun began his successful run for US Senate.

        Lindauer will serve on several committees including Roads and Transportation, Natural Resources,  Family and Children Services Committee.  He serves as Vice Chair of Public Health.

        District 63 covers portions of Daviess, Pike, Knox, Martin and Dubois Counties.
