ISP Jasper Post Receives 4 New Troopers

Last week The Indiana State Police Recruit Academy graduated 54 new State Troopers, and four of the new officers have been assigned to the Jasper Post.

 

Trooper Teresa Bowling is a 25 year old native of Holland, Indiana. She is a graduate of Southridge High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice and sociology from the University of Southern Indiana.


Trooper Clay Ford is 23 years old and a native of Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Ford earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in criminal justice from Oakland City University.


Trooper Patrick Gallagher is a 27 year old native of Depauw, Indiana and is a U.S. Navy veteran. In the Navy Gallagher was a Fire Control Technician.


Trooper Christopher Rainey is 25 and a native of Salem, Indiana. He graduated from Franklin College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in athletic training and was formerly the athletic trainer for Salem High School.


The new Troopers will now spend the next three months riding with and being evaluated by veteran state troopers. Upon successful completion of the field training phase, each new troopers will be required to pass an oral interview with their perspective Command Staff prior to being issued their commissions to begin solo patrol.
