Multiple 911 calls caused a very short soft lock down at Shoals schools

        Investigators in Martin County are looking into who’s responsible for requiring school officials to implement at soft lock down at Shoals Community Schools on Wednesday. 

        The lock down took place in the noon hour and only lasted five minutes.  School officials reported an unknown caller dialed 911 multiple times from an unknown location using a restricted cell phone that was pinged back to Shoals Elementary. After searching it was determined there were no serious medical issues or threats. 

        Authorities continue to look into the source of the call.
