Representatives from several Southern Indiana communities gathered in Bloomfield Friday to be awarded their share of $5.4 million in matching Community Crossing Funds from the state’s 2018 Next Level Roads Project.
Washington’s share was $325,000 which Mayor Joe Wellman says the city will match dollar for dollar to get some paving done…
The work will be done on 4 specific areas of the city that again were pre-chosen as part of the application process to receive the funds.
