Marcia L. Grubb, 79, of Washington, IN, passed away November 13, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.

Marcia was the owner of Grubb Satellite Systems from 1984 – 2000, then in 2002 she started GDAC, a consulting firm to various motorsports groups such as Burris Racing Corp from Huntington Beach CA and Digatron LLC from Spokane, Washington. Marcia and her company was recognized at many motorsport events at places such as VIR in Virginia, PIR in Pennsylvania, Charlotte Motor Speedway, NC, Jacksonville, FL, and Dismores Motorsport Complex in Indiana, just to name a few. She also managed Fast Track Raceway, with her husband, for Burris Racing Corp. (a facility that hosted many karting events and also did tire testing for Burris Racing). Her own company, and those that she was a rep for, sponsored many WKA (World Karting Association) events and other major sports, such as snowmobiles, quarter midgets, tractor pulls and even the Lawn Mower Racing Association.

Marcia really enjoyed seeing the youngest boys and girls develop into great drivers, especially those that she sponsored and let drive her own karts, so that they could have top notch equipment at no cost to them. Even kids that were competitors always liked to hang around her because she would give them hugs and compliments on their driving skills.

Marcia was born on October 13, 1939, in Pike County, IN. She was the daughter of Chester and Lorianne (Shepard) Ham.  Her parents and a brother, Johnny D. Hamm, preceded her.

Surviving is her husband, Cecil Grubb, whom she married July 21, 1962; a son, Nicky Grubb and his wife, Candace, of Otwell, IN; a brother, Donald Ham of Cato, IN; her grandchildren, Christin Wyant, Nikki Grubb, April Bruce, and Adam Grubb; and her great-grandchildren, Landen Wyant, Bristal Grubb, Sophie Bruce, and Spencer Bruce.
