Incident reports from the police and sheriff’s departments

-Washington Police investigated a two vehicle accident where one vehicle left the scene.  It happened at 7:39 yesterday morning on East Hefron.  A caller said they were southbound turning from Northeast 6th onto Hefron when a dark SUV was said to be on the wrong side of the road and hit them on the driver’s side in the grill area of the vehicle.  The SUV they took off. There were no injuries.

-Washington Nursing Center reported someone broke into their parked bus and pulled the front glass off.  That was reported at 10:05 yesterday morning.

-Police were informed of a theft that took place at Goody’s in Cherry Tree Plaza.  The report was made yesterday about the Monday incident.

-Nine bags of trash were reported dumped on the side of Old Vincennes Road at 300-west yesterday morning.

-There was a report of a toolbox stolen off of a truck from the car wash in Montgomery. That report was made at 3:15pm yesterday.

-A possible break  in was reported by a resident with a Loogootee address on 1125-East.  Nothing was taken but damage was reported to a door on the residence.
