85 people were arrested and charged in Knox County on drug offenses.
It was all part of a 19 month investigation that came to a head yesterday. The busts started at 6:30-am as 74 people wanted on warrants were picked up on felony charges.
Another 11 were apprehended in the process.
The operation conducted by Vincennes, Bicknell and VU Police, State Police the FBI and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department including SWAT and the Knox County Probation Department.
The charges include dealing in meth, cocaine and controlled substances.
