The 2nd installment of property taxes is due by Tuesday November 13th.
Daviess County Treasurer Elaine Wellman says full or partial payments can be made anytime. If you mail payments she advises to do that early. Payments with a postmark dated later than November 13th will be considered late in subject to a penalty.
You can pay in person at the Treasurer’s Office Monday through Friday 8 to 4 and the office will be open Saturday November 3rd for the convenience of taxpayers. If you pay in person, bring your statements with you.

Again fall property tax payments are due on Tuesday November 13th, the courthouse will be closed November 12th for Veteran’s Day.
