One of the great on air voices in the Daviess and Knox County areas passed away Wednesday after an illness.

Keith Jones of Washington was 63.

Keith worked for several radio stations in the region as a DJ and commercial announcer.  He DJ’d under his own name and several pseudo names including “Pete Moss, the dirt bag of radio.”   He owned and operated K-Com and High Octane Trax.  He was instrumental in getting the sound ran and played at East Side Park and in downtown Washington on Main.
