Fifteen projects from fifteen organizations in Daviess County have been granted over $120,000 from the Daviess County Community Foundation.
The Community Good Grant Awards were made possible through people and organizations establishing and contributing to unrestricted and field of interest funds serving Daviess County.
Some of the larger amount grants went to the Cannelburg Fire Department’s “In With The New Out with the Worn Out Program”. It received $18,000. Southwest Indiana Powerhouse was awarded over $10,000 for it’s Food Service Program. $20,000 was given to YouthFirst for the Youth First Social Work Program for Daviess County Schools. Nearly $11,500 was awarded to the Pregnancy Care Center of Washington for their Earn While You Learn Program.
