Tree limb falls through school bus full of cheerleaders

Only minor injuries reported when a tree limb fell onto the top of a Linton/Stockton High school bus loaded with cheerleaders headed to the a football game yesterday.

        Greene County authorities say the bus was going to a Cardinal/Ritter game at 4:22-pm when the tree limb fell and punctured through the roof of the bus driven by Chelsea Hawkins. She, along with 13 teens were evaluated on scene and all were released with minor injuries.  The bus was traveling on West State Road 54 near Greene County 230-North.

        The juveniles were released to family members and the bus was able to be driven back to Linton/Stockton High School.
