-A Bridgeport, Illinois man was jailed in Daviess County yesterday on warrants. 26-year-old David Nail was wanted for Theft and Fraud. Bond was set at $5000. The arrest was made by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
-41-year-old Thomas Boffro of Bicknell was booked into the security Center Monday for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. Bond was posted.
-A breaking and entering was reported at 10 yesterday morning. Officials with the business “A Cut Above” believed their facility was broken into sometime over the weekend. A list of missing items was being compiled.
-A woman told police yesterday that as she was walking from the Goodwill Store toward Dollar General at Washington Plaza that a man walked toward her while she was on her cell phone and took her shoulder bag and pocketbook. The woman said $120 cash was taken along with a checkbook, social security and insurance cards The man was described as a black male. Police are investigating.
