A theft, two accidents and suspicious activity investigated Wednesday

-Washington Police investigated a theft reported from a Bernard Avenue residence.  The report made yesterday afternoon.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department investigated a car/deer crash at 6:23 yesterday morning at 58 and North 1200-East.

-There was an accident with no injuries reported at 6:36-am Wednesday on Park Road in Montgomery.

 -The Washington Police Department charged two Plainville men with numerous Possession charges and one with several Driving under the Influence charges.  60-year-old George E. Miley was booked into the security center on $2500 for three counts of Operating While Intoxicated, one is a Felony and one involved a controlled substance.  He was also found to be Driving While Suspended.  Miley and 38-year-old Phillip J. Paul are both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana and Paraphernalia.  Paul was jailed without bond.  The arrests took place around 7 last night when police responded to a call to Mason’s Root Beer in reference to two suspicious males.  Upon investigation both were taken into custody.

 -Indiana State Police arrested 19-year-old Dalton L. Moore of Washington on a warrant.  He was wanted for Failure to Appear.  Bond was set at $2500.

-A Montgomery man was arrested on a warrant for a Notice of a DCCC Violation. No bond was set for 46-year-old Danny J. Standard.
