Billy D. Petry, 76, of Washington, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 1:28 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at Prairie Village Nursing Home.
He was born Feb. 8, 1942, in Jasper, Indiana, to Raymond “Peach” and Eldena Petry.
He married Donna Crow on June 29, 1984. Bill was employed at Washington Concrete for many years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Haysville, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife; daughter Angela; stepdaughters Traci Whitehead, Tammy Clark and Tonya Taylor; stepgrandchildren Antaa Edwards, Megan Healy, Tarin Healy, Jacob Taylor, Sam Erb, Maxx Whitehead and Quincee Healy; 7 stepgreat-grandchildren; sister Della Rae (Bill) Skaggs; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Gary Petry.
As per Bill’s wishes he will be cremated. Services will be held in the mausoleum at Sugarland Memory Gardens, Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at 2 p.m.
