Police logs; accident on Business 50, break in at a cabin, DCSD make possession arrest

-Washington City Police report one person did go to the hospital after a crash at US 50 and I69 this morning. It happened around 7:30.  Unofficial reports indicate a car hit the rear of semi.  It’s believed the woman was taken to Good Sam in Vincennes.

-Authorities and emergency crews went to Casey’s on East National Highway at 5:25 last night in reference to a personal injury accident report.  Police logs state two people involved in the accident signed medical statements of release.  There was a citation issued for disregarding a traffic light.  Police were on scene for about 40 minutes.

-Daviess County Deputies were called to a reported break in and burglary that happened at a cabin on State Road 358.  The owner said several things were stolen.  There were signs of forced entry including a broken window.  A list of stolen items is being compiled.

 -A Washington man was jailed yesterday for Operating While Intoxicated and OVWI with Endangerment.  Bond was set at $2000 for 45-year-old Daniel Erb.

-Washington Police picked up 34-year-old Richard A. Hill of Vincennes on an Out of County warrant. No bond was set.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation Tuesday and arrested 26-year-old Aaron J. Rogers of Washington.  He’s charged with Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia and Neglect of a Dependent. Bond was set at $5000.
