(NETWORK INDIANA) The 102nd murder of 2018 was recorded in Indianapolis this morning. IMPD says a person was found shot in an apartment complex on the city’s northwest side.
It happened in the 8200 block of Lenox Lane near 82nd and Township Line Road.
Police say the incident began as a fight and then someone started shooting. A man was found with a gunshot wound. Medical staff tried to save him, but they could not.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. A pick-up truck had driven away after plowing into the brick wall of a carport.
Police are looking for suspects.
