-29-year-old Samantha F. Smeitzer of Washington was arrested overnight for Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Minor, and Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury. No bond was set.
-A Washington man was booked into the security center Monday for Possession fo a Schedule IV Controlled Substance. No bond was set for 29-year-old Stephen J. Lofton.
-32-year-old Justin G. Fraley of Washington was jailed for Neglect of a Dependent, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Marijuana. Bond was set at $2500 and bond was posted. The arrest was made Monday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
-At 1:33 pm Monday, the Sheriff’s Department responded to a call about a one vehicle accident at 100-East and US 50 near Cannelburg. A vehicle went off into a ditch and an occupant was said to be trapped in the vehicle.
-Authorities responded to an accident at around 7-am Monday on US 50 east of I69. Police and fire departments and medical crews were on scene for an hour. Someone was believed to have been taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. Five people signed medical releases at the scene. Emergency personnel were on scene for about an hour.
