Schools get Safety Grant $

        Daviess County Schools are receiving over $100,000 in school safety grants.

        The matching fund grants were approved recently by the Indiana Security School Safety Board.   It includes a total of $14 million to pay for safety assessments, school resource officers and equipment at qualifying schools across Indiana.

        Washington Community gets $50,000, Washington Catholic $29,000, Barr Reeve $35,000 and North Daviess $25,000.
