Daviess County election ballot fills up

Six Democrats have filed to be on the General Election ballot in Daviess County.

        Prior to Friday, no Democrats were on the ticket.

        Filing Friday were Dana Fulton of Elnora who seeking County Council District 1.   She will face incumbent Republican Dave Smith. 

        For County Council District 2, Democrat Michael Morris has filed to face Republican Tony Duncheon. The position is an open seat. Duncheon won the Republican primary in May.

        Vincent Sellers has filed for County Council District 4.  He’ll face incumbent Republican Patrick Dant.

        Larry E. Miller will run against Republican Nathan Gabhart for County Commissioner District 2.

        Ron Critchlow wants to be the Washington Township Trustee.  He’ll face Republican Michelle Guy.

        18-year-old Brady Turner wants to represent Democrats as the Harrison Township Trustee. The Republican on the ballot there is Kimberly Armes.
