Three Elnora residents are facing charges after a Monday morning investigation by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department. 42-year-old Donald R. Buchanan, 44-year-old Sandy D. Buchanan and 18-year-old Katelyn R. Buchanan are all charged with Battery in the Presence of a Minor and Disorderly Conduct. All three were taken into custody Monday morning after police responded to an Elnora address at 7:44-am.
-Washington Police arrested 50-year-old Donnie G. Heggen on a warrant Monday. He was wanted on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Battery and Domestic Battery and Battery Causing Serious Bodily Injury. Bond was set at $200,000.
-42-year-old Misty R. Churchwell was jailed on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Maintaining a Common Nuisance. Bond was set at $100,000.
-18-year-old Harold A. Ivy of New Haven, Illinois was picked up by Washington Police on an out of county warrant. No bond was set.
-County officers investigated a theft report at an Elnora residence Monday afternoon.
-A motorist struck a speed limit sign and knocked it down near Scoops Monday morning.
